Dear Brothers, Once again, we are beginning a new year and a new era. The Haunted Harvest Festival at Camp Nooteeming is quickly approaching and so are lodge elections. Over the past year, I have met with many of you, held your unit elections, and made many new friends. Now, I ask all of you to step up this year and fulfill the promise you made when you were inducted into our Order. Our chapter and our district is coming together to better serve our troop units. I am looking for brothers who will step up at our next election and run for officer positions; become involved in our lodge; and help build our district. I would like to thank Mr. Carl Berkowitz, our past Chapter Advisor for all the service and help he has given this district and particularly myself. He has recently stepped down from his position and taken on the position of Brotherhood Conversion Advisor. Thank you, Mr. Berkowitz for all your cheerful service. I would also like to welcome our new Chapter Advisor, Paul Eagleston, and I sincerely look forward to working with him this coming year. This year, we want to focus on unit elections, district camporees and events, and chapter meetings. Therefore we will be holding Chapter meetings in coordination with every district roundtable meeting, beginning with the October 15th meeting at the Minisink Elementary School. (Please note: the roundtable locations rotate between Monticello HS, Minisink Elementary School, and the Milford United Methodist Church, please check the HVC website calendar for the month to month schedule) These dates will also be posted on the lodge’s website, www.nachanimat.org. There are many plans to discuss and a lot of fellowship to catch up on. It should be an exciting meeting. We are also looking for brothers to help with unit elections this year for our district. I completed most election on my own last year but I need the help of my fellow arrowmen. Please get in touch and lend a hand this year. We will also be participating in events such as camporees, Klondike Derbies, and much more. Attend the Chapter meeting to find out more and bring a troop leader along for the district roundtable. Thank you everyone for your help and I look forward to meeting many of you again this year. Yours in Brotherhood, Jacob Pagendarm Delaware Chapter Chief
